Shortlisted…Again! (Now it’s just getting embarrassing)

We are really delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for the 2016 Comms National Awards. This year it’s in the Enterprise Unified Comms category for the work we have done with Perform Group*.

This is the 4th year in a row we have been shortlisted for the communication industry’s most sought after awards - and in the previous 3 years we have won at least one category, and in 2014 we won two categories. We like to think we’re humble(ish) but even we’re pretty chuffed with this track-record.

OK, we all know that industry awards can be a lot of back-slapping and self-congratulations so why does our nomination matter, and why should you care?

We think making our customers more successful (and then going on to be recognised for that) requires a small number of critical elements – all of which we brought to our relationship with Perform Group:

  • We’re fanatical – yet brutally objective – about the latest tech, what it can do, and what’s coming down the pipeline. That means we have to offer a genuine choice of platform and product on a customer by customer basis. In this case we used the The Voice Factory’s Broadsoft platform, but it could have been 8x8 or Skype or…
  • Getting under the skin – really under the skin – of our customer’s business issues and ambitions, as well as their employees’ and customers’ expectations. We took nothing at face value at Perform Group and that means we were always looking for the big picture win.
  • Bringing all that together to create a uniquely joined-up offering that achieved exactly what they needed…in a way they never imagined possible.

We know that it’s this combination that makes us different and that’s why we keep winning awards – because we keep on making our customers better at what they do.

Anyhow...enough of the “Aren’t we marvellous” stuff, how about I leave the last word to the customer in question:

“From the outset IP Solutions have stood out for the highly engaged and consultative way they have approached the relationship, and, given the complexity of the deployment it is this characteristic, plus their honesty at all times that have kept the relationship on track….There is no question that the investment with IP Solutions has paid for itself many times over."
